Description

Ingredients

500g all-purpose flour

7g dry yeast

70g sugar

1 tsp salt

300ml milk

50g butter, softened

1 egg

150g dark chocolate, chopped

1 egg for brushing (optional)


Instructions

  • Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.

  • In a separate bowl, warm the milk, then add butter and egg, stirring until the butter melts.

  • Slowly combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until dough forms.

  • Knead dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let rise for 1-1.5 hours.

  • Punch down dough, roll out to a 30×40 cm rectangle.

  • Evenly distribute chopped chocolate, leaving a small border. Roll tightly.

  • Cut into 12 pieces and place on a parchment-lined tray. Let rise for 30 minutes.

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Brush buns with egg wash.

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

  • Cool slightly before serving.
